I began shooting trap for the Burlington High School Shooting Team in 2008. I never could have imagined the success I would have and the places it could take me. Shooting has given me countless friends and even incredible opportunities at Hillsdale College.
I started Fox River Shooting Sports to support my shooting journey and provide services that were lacking in my area. I am an authorized dealer for Randolph Ranger shooting glasses, Clenzoil, Gun Mouse, GOD’A Grip, Decibullz, Shamrock Leathers and Kolar Arms.

Shooting History
My Journey...
In the spring of 2008, I traveled to the Burlington Conservation Club to shoot my first round of trap. At the range, my father and I were approached by Tom Wondrash, the head coach of the BHS Demons Trap Team, with an invitation to compete on his team. I agreed and at my first event broke only 57 of 100 targets. Only 15 months after taking my first shot, I won the WI State Sub-Jr Championship breaking 196 of 200 targets.
A lot has transpired over the last 12 years. My journey has taken me to hundreds of competitions across the country. I have won a multitude of state titles in Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays, Five-Stand and Olympic disciplines, and earned a spot on three USA Shooting Junior Olympic teams, three ACUI/NRA Collegiate All-American teams, and two NSCA North Central Regional teams.
The clay target sports are largely an individual sport, however I love the aspects of bringing individuals together to compete as a team. Competing as a team requires an additional level of mental preparation to bring each other up to the next level. Some of my most important wins are two SCTP National Championships and two SCTP High School National Championships with my BHS Demons teammates.
While attending Hillsdale College, I am most proud of winning five straight ACUI Div. III Collegiate National Championships with the Hillsdale Chargers. I will never forget 2017, the year that five Hillsdale Chargers earned All-American honors.
My last collegiate competition came was 2018 SCTP Nationals where I ran 200 straight in trap to finish a near-perfect youth shooting career.
I have been coaching youth shooters for over 8 years and I am currently the Head Shotgun Coach my alma matter. Working with young athletes is one of my favorite things. I love to give them the tools and inspiration to reach their full potential.
